I have been coming here since it opened and the service is always fantastic and as accommodating as they can be concerning food intolerances. If you are unsure what to order I recommend starting with a house made pastry and crepe.
Was very nice atmosphere and the food was decent. My go to was the delicious Beehive Smoothie Bowl. Definitely filled me up.
One of my favorite cafes located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul. You must try one of their signature coffees (my favorite is pumpkin brulee), and the food is exceptional every time. You can tell the chefs love what they do.
What a delicious place for breakfast/lunch! I stopped in for breakfast and a coffee and it was so good. I got the breakfast sandwich and the creme brûlée iced latte. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to eat!
This is a fabulous place. I have been doing a coffee tour around the Twin Cities and this is so far my favorite stop. The staff are unbelievably kind, the roast of their coffee is light and smooth and the vibe in here is spectacular. If you are looking for your next study spot, somewhere to catch up with an old friend or to take a break alone, I would highly recommend Cafe Astoria!
First time here. Delicious, took me back to Spain Cafés. The Pimento spread on the Breakfast Sandwiches, the Prosciutto. The Pastries, they were delicious I almost bought all of them. Glad we chose to eat here!
This coffee shop and cafe is so nice and the employees are super helpful. We just had coffee and pastries this time, but will definitely be back to try more things. They have a great menu plus there is indoor and outdoor seating available.
Cute, cozy neighborhood staple in a trendy, busy part of Saint Paul. They have an expansive breakfast menu with lots of sweet and savory options, and their drink menu is impressive as well! I tried the ube matcha iced latte, which was delicious, sweet, and smooth. Additionally (not pictured) I got their seasonal pumpkin smoothie which was sweet, nourishing, and had interesting fresh ingredients (sweetened with fresh dates!) Their lemon ricotta pancakes are huge, served with a generous amount of lemon curd and impeccably fresh blueberries. The texture is great: soft but not underdone, fluffy without being too heavy. We came at a busy time, so while drinks came out quickly, the food was a tad slow. All in all, though, I'd love to come back and try more menu options!

I've been coming here for over a year now and I can safely say that Cafe Astoria is my favorite local coffee shop. I love the vibe of the place. It's very chill, making it the perfect place to study or get work done. The food is very high quality. They have a good mix of balanced meals and sweet pastries and treats. Their coffee is also amazing, visually and taste-wise. Overall, it's a place I recommend to anyone from St. Paul to visit at least once. It's a very beautiful place that has a diverse menu. The staff is really sweet and I always feel welcome every time I come in.
